The Passover is a widely known picture about our redemption from Egypt and from sin. As believers in Yeshua, we know the importance of the shedding of blood, but should we now put the blood on our doorpost? That is the question that will be focused on in this teaching. This is not to bring controversy or division but to look at the Ancient Near Eastern context of this beloved time of year for us believers in Messiah Yeshua our Redeemer.
I pray that the content of this teaching will help us gain a better understanding about what to do during the time of redemption. Do you know what the difference is between roasting the meat and boiling the meat or what it meant in the context of the ancient Near East? Should we follow the command in Exodus to kill the lamb at home or the command in Deuteronomy that forbids killing the Passover lamb anywhere except the temple? These and many more questions will be answered during this one hour teaching about the Passover in the context of the Ancient Near East.
